TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It is the responsibility of the named person on the booking to read, understand and accept responsibility for all booking conditions and payments due. By paying a deposit for your services you agree to all terms and conditions and enter a contract with EH Artistry.


CORONAVIRUS 

Due to the recent Coronavirus pandemic, my usual policy applies. Refunds on deposits and payments will not be given in the event of postponement or cancellation made by either party. Where possible, I will transfer your deposit to your new date if I am available as a gesture of good will. 

MINIMUM BOOKING FEE

Prices are final and full amount will still be payable even if not all services booked are required on booking date.

There is a minimum booking fee of £250 for peak season May 1st – September 30th on Saturdays. If this amount is not met with your requirements, a surcharge will be applied.



DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS

An immediate payment of a non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit is required upon booking. Your date will not be saved until this has been received. Your £50 deposit will be deducted from the total amount payable from your booking. The remaining balance for services booked is due 28 days prior to your wedding day.


Payments for trials are due at the time of the trial or before.


Accepted payment methods include cash, BACS transfers and PayPal transfers.


By paying your deposit for the date of services, you acknowledge full agreement of terms and conditions of booking. Once your deposit for your date is received, you will receive a booking confirmation for your services. Please take time to read through and check this is correct. After this time a contract with EH Artistry stands and is bound by these terms and conditions.



TRAVEL EXPENSES

Travel expenses will also be added to your booking if your venue is outside of Shrewsbury. Bookings outside of Shrewsbury will incur a 50p per mile and may also be eligible for a surcharge.  



DELAYS EXPERIENCED ON THE DAY

If I experience unforeseen delays on the day which are out of my control, refunds will not be given in the event of forfeited services and no compensation will be given if I overrun. I will work with you to provide a realistic schedule for the day and it is your responsibility that everyone is ready for their services on time. I encourage trials from all party members to speed things up on the day.


TRIAL AVAILABILITY

Trials must be booked in advance, especially within peak season (May 1st – September 30th) where availability is limited. Trials can be carried out on Weekday evenings and weekends subject to availability. In the event you have to cancel or reschedule your trial, I require at least 7 days’ notice.


Trials are advised for all people receiving makeup services to ensure they will be completely satisfied with services provided. This will make your day more efficient and minimise delays as I will fully understand the style of makeup desired and the best professional products to be used for each person.


Trials are carried out at my own beauty studio in Shrewsbury however I am happy to travel for group trials where a small surcharge will be applied if outside of Shrewsbury Town.



CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

You must ensure that I will be provided with a suitable working environment on the day. This includes adequate lighting, electricity points and handwashing facilities. I require 2 electrical points within my immediate working space.

Please ensure all members of your party are aware of the schedule on the day and the time they need to be available for services. I also require all members of the party to be available for 10 minutes before leaving for last minute touch ups if these are needed.

You are to inform me of any allergies or reactions prior to any makeup application on any member of your party. If no known allergies are stated, I cannot be held liable for any reactions, injuries, losses, damage or costs that may be incurred to you or any other member of your party.

Prior to makeup application, please make sure you and your party are prepared to avoid leaving the chair whilst I am applying your makeup. Please ensure skin is clean, teeth are cleaned, contact lenses have been applied and you have been to the toilet. This is to help minimise any delays to the schedule on the day.

Please ensure babies and children are kept out of reach of my workspace and my products for their own safety.



CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS MADE BY ME

In the unlikely event that I cannot attend on your wedding day due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be immediately refunded including deposits and trials. I will work with you to find an alternative reputable makeup artist you are happy with.

I reserve the right to terminate the contract without refund if I experience rude or offensive behaviour by anyone in your party.


CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS MADE BY YOU

All changes must be initiated or approved by the bride. Additions are accepted where time allows. I will also require prior notice to changes of the schedule agreed on booking. I will always try my best to accommodate changes to your schedule however this may not always be possible due to availability. Payments for additions must be received before the day.

You are required to give 6 months notice for cancellations or reductions to your booking. If this no longer meets the minimum booking fee, a surcharge will be applied to your booking. After such time, the full amount for services cancelled will still be payable by the specified due date.

Please note that deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.



ADDITIONAL MAKEUP ARTISTS

In the unlikely event that I cannot fulfil your requirements in entirety within the timing provided, I will propose a new schedule or appoint a second reputable makeup artist to accommodate the booking. If I am unavailable to arrange this for your booking this will remain solely the responsibility of yourself.



PHOTOGRAPHY

It is imperative that I update my artistry portfolio for future prospective brides. Please let me know in advance if you do not wish to be photographed and are not happy for me to use your images for marketing purposes. Photos are required in makeup trials for reference only on the day.
