FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. WHAT ARE YOUR ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT?

A. Upon enquiry you will be sent an online proposal which will let you sign your contract and pay deposits. You will be emailed at each stage of your payment instalments with an online payment processor link. This will accept all card payments and PayPal options. If you wish, you may also send via BACS transfer or Cash is also accepted.

Q. DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

A. A deposit is taken when you confirm your proposal. Your date is not secure without a signed contract and deposit paid. The initial deposit is 25% of your quote.

Q. DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM BOOKING FEE?

A. Yes, I have a minimum booking fee of Bride plus 3 which is enforced during weekends in peak season. This will be communicated to you within your proposal/quote, along with my Terms and Conditions of booking. If you have less members of your party and still wish to book for your wedding day, of course this is possible with other services or a surcharge.

Q. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE ON THE DAY OF MY BOOKING?

A. This will depend on your schedule. I am happy to work any hours to accommodate bookings. When booking, please state the number of people you are enquiring about. I will work with your schedule and timings to advise how many people will be able to have their makeup professionally done on the day. If your party is larger than 8 people I am happy to accommodate however, this may require an early start time.

Q. CAN I BOOK YOU AS A SECOND MAKEUP ARTIST?

A. Yes, provided my booking requirements are met I am happy to be booked as a second makeup artist on your day provided booking requirements are met.

Q. WHATS YOUR FAVOURITE STYLE OF MAKEUP?

I am able to adapt to suit your needs and I will work with you to create your perfect look for any occasion. I specialise in soft glam and natural makeup. This is my probably my favourite style as I believe  it is modern and timeless and will ensure you love your look in many years to come. Everyone is their most beautiful when they still look like themselves, just with a little touch to enhance your natural beauty!

Q. DO I NEED A TRIAL APPOINTMENT?

A. Trials are essential for bridal bookings. I am totally honoured if you trust my talent enough to not have a trial, however trialing the products on your skin is essential as it allows me to make any necessary tweaks to layering, setting etc to ensure your makeup lasts from day to night. For me, it is much more about how the makeup wears on skin types than the style as I am confident we will always nail the style together.

Q. WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY TRIAL APPOINTMENT?

A. Your second instalment of a further 25% is taken 6 months before your wedding date. After this is paid we can organise your trial! This is perfect timing as you have planned the whole day and look by now, and your skin and style is not likely to change. It also allows us to get to know each other and ensure we are both on the same page for the day with planning the look and schedules at this point.

Q. WHEN DO I PAY THE FINAL BALANCE?

A. Your final 50% balance payment will be due 30 days before your wedding date. You may be this balance earlier if you wish.

Q. DO I NEED TO PROVIDE ANYTHING FOR MY TRIAL APPOINTMENT?

A. It is great if you come to your trial with pictures and ideas of similar makeup that you like. This can be my own work or someone else’s, however try to stick to real life makeup and not overly edited pictures. Please bear in mind that makeup will be adapted to best suit your skin, colouring, face shape and facial features.

Q. DO YOU PROVIDE LASHES?

A. All bridal bookings come with complimentary lashes, I use both individuals and strips depending on what look you require, I am qualified in individual lashes which tend to be preferred as they look more seamless.

Q. DO YOU OFFER OTHER SERVICES?

A. Yes, a variety of advanced skin treatments are available at Skin&Co. with myself. Any questions, please feel free to ask.

Q. WHAT BRANDS DO YOU USE IN YOUR MAKEUP KIT?

A. Having worked in the beauty industry over 5 years and having a passion for all things makeup, I regularly sample lots of different products from different brands and am always keen to try new releases. This is so I can offer the best and highest quality professional makeup for my clients. I only use professional makeup from professional industry recognised brands such as Hourglass, DIOR, Charlotte TIlbury, Chanel,MAC Cosmetics, NARs, Charlotte Tilbury, HUDA Beauty, Clinique, La Mer and lots more.

Q. ARE YOU QUALIFIED?

Yes, I am a fully certified makeup artist. I have trained with massive names in the beauty industry including Charlotte Tilbury, Estee Lauder, Clinique and MAC Cosmetics along with other industry leading Makeup Artists along the way.

Q. WHAT LOCATIONS DO YOU COVER?

I am based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and predominantly serve the surrounding areas. I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK or overseas, I love exploring new venues! Please note this may incur extra travel/flights/accommodation costs.

Q. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING DAY?

My diary is open for bookings until end of  2027. I recommend booking your wedding as far advance as possible as dates in peak season from March to October, especially fill up quickly.

Q. WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING?

A. If you need to cancel your booking, I require 12 months notice of doing so. Your deposit is non-refundable however if you have paid anything further, I will refund the amount. If you wish to cancel your booking with less than 12 months notice the full amount will still be payable by the specified due date on the booking confirmation. Terms and conditions are provided alongside the initial confirmation and you have a 7 day ‘cooling off’ period to cancel free of charge. After 7 days you enter into a contract with EH Artistry and are bound by these terms and conditions. Terms and conditions can also be viewed in full on your initial proposal and contract.
