Hey, I'm Emily, a professional makeup artist specialising in modern and timeless artistry.

As a freelance artist, I am based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire and cover the surrounding areas and UK for your special day. I am also available for destination weddings should you decide to celebrate overseas!

I specialise in 'Soft Glam' and 'Natural' Makeup. Born through a background of being a medical-grade skin therapist I pay enhanced detail to perfecting skin focused looks that photograph flawlessly. I pride myself in offering a personalised and dedicated service to every one of my brides, creating your goal together.

I have over 10 years of experience in weddings and working alongside brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass, Bobbi Brown & MAC Cosmetics.

BONNIE BESPOKE EMBROIDERY ✨

On my wedding day my sister surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet ribbon, not just any ribbon but a silk ribbon she had hand embroidered my late grandparents handwriting on from various old cards in our family loft to scribe a message from them to me. Needless to say I broke down in tears instantly 🥹

She found a love for the art and how special it was and since setting up her Etsy/Instagram store has sent orders all around the world for her special embroidery service.

If your know your date, and would love me to be there please be organised! I already have lots of brides on a waitlist and as you know peak season weekends get snapped up incredibly quickly and I hate turning brides away especially when you’re all so lovely!

A few changes will be happening in the new year to my booking process, making things so much better for my brides and sharing my knowledge with you all! 🫶🏼

Aimee wanted a soft glam, but the focus was the skin! (SIGN ME UP!🤩)

She wanted buttery, dewy skin that would take her from day to night perfectly with a subtle sparkle to match her incredible @evalendel dress! ✨

We used a combination of layering creams, powders and creams again on top to put some life and radiance back into the skin and we’re both obsessed with how the final look came out. (I’ve seen the evening dance photos and it lasted perfectly for this party girl!😂😍)

Gorgeous Glam from April - a great one to show pinks aren’t scary! I call this kind of look pillow talk pink as brighter or more cooler tone pinks can look a little like a bruise/sore eyes and therefore don’t use them much in bridals..

In love with how this look turned out using all @charlottetilbury products and the pillow talk eye quad. I hope to see more subtle pink looks coming through this year 😍

Lauren had her trial just a day before!! This weekend has seen 4 beautiful brides and starting off strong with the gorgeous J at Berwick House!

The look was stunning! We originally tried more of a 50s look, with a darker eye and liquid liner, a trial is so important as on reflection J asked if we could actually go lighter on the eyes and found new inspiration for her bridal look! ✨

This can happen as often a trial can help you decide what you don’t like on yourself just as much as what you do like, J put her full trust in me on the day to change the look completely and there were tears when she saw it and even said ‘you’ve nailed it’ 🥹 which is just the BEST reaction when you care so much about it being nothing less than perfect for your bride! 🤍

I can’t wait to see the super chic photos from this wedding of the dress, the gloves and all the bridesmaids that had a red lip! 🤍✨

The Bridal Smokey Eye of 2023 🤍

What a look! 😍

If you’re thinking Smokey liner or Smokey Shadow, I always advise all my brides in trials not to go too dark with their Smokey eyes, this is due to photography and being in keeping with your everyday makeup and your overall look you want to achieve.

If you go too dark with the eyes, you risk them standing out for the wrong reasons on all your pictures. If you go too light, you may not notice the makeup in the way you want to, it’s a fine balance of a natural medium depth Smokey shadow colour or bronzer, and often you can’t go wrong with this if you’re a Smokey eye girl! ✨

I’ll always be on hand to give honest advice, but I focus my looks on ensuring they look great on camera but are a natural version of your best self as a bride, not for night out glam! (We can go that any other day!) 🤩😍
